Subject:Help?
Time:10:23 am.
I think you have a problem when, after realizing that you left your credit card, any and all cash, I.D. and cell phone at home, your number one worry is not being able to buy a cup of coffee for the morning.

Subject:Ugh!
Time:9:48 am.
Fuck life!

1. My head hurts!

2. I'm hungover!

3. I'm sleep-deprived!

4. I hate cops! I saw at least 8 cops on my half-drunk drive to work this morning; on motorcycles, in cars, riding bikes. Driving on my best behavior while experiencing numbers 1-3 is not fucking fun!

5. Our 7 inch jackets are delayed. Fuck!

6. This coffee tastes like shit!!

7. Did I mention I hate fucking cops!!!!!!!!

And out of all these things, something that isn't even on this list is bothering me the most. Why do the most trivial of problems always have the most importance?

I need to prioritize, for real.

Subject:Room and board.
Time:1:06 pm.
If anyone knows someone who would like to sublet my room for the month of April, let me know. I will have furniture, a television, a DVD player and books to entertain your everyday living needs. It's $475 for the entire month, but I'm willing to accept less if need be.

FREELOADERS: If I can't find anyone to rent my room, I'm locking the door, taking the key with me and placing Chris as my roomkeeper. So, think again.

Time:5:39 pm.
On Friday I will be flying to Waco, Texas, instead of driving to Las Vegas. The only thing that I can take comfort in right now is that I probably will never be obligated to go to Waco again in my life after I depart back to LAX on Saturday evening.

You'd think that someone who has an absurd amount of black clothing would have more than enough items from which to choose to wear to a funeral. You'd think. I guess I have to go shopping.

Subject:Election Day, 4 years later.
Time:5:47 pm.
A little over four years ago, I posted the following in this journal:

"Are you registered to vote? Are you registered to vote? Areyouregisteredtovote?
But Bush is going to win if you don't vote.
But you have to participate in the system.
This is your only chance in the next four years to make a difference.

SHUTTHEFUCKUP.

If someone else knocks on my door asking me if I'm registered I am going to scream.

Since I don't vote I guess that makes me a BAD person.
I get it, I get it. Not wanting some authoritarian asshole making decisions for me and knowing the policies and decisions and fuck ups of each candidate more than most registered voters do and knowing that historically when anarchists have worked too closely with the left they are left defeated and in some cases slaughtered more than most anti-capitalists who endorse voting do makes me apathetic and stupid.
But if I hear one more time about how it is my state-given "right" to choose someone to rule over me and how there is no way other than voting to change things, I'm out.

No matter who you vote for, government wins.

Fuck all presidents."

It's good to know that after 4 years, I've never given myself up. A little more coherent, understanding and a lot less bitter than I was back then, but I'm an anarchist for life.

Subject:Yesterday, I learned:
Time:11:17 am.
1. It's probably not a good idea to have 50+ drunk people at our house in the middle of the day, because we'll never get them to leave.
2. Lock the door to my room so that multiple people can't have sex in my bed and knock over all my shit.
3. The combination of Jagger and swimming the night before work is NOT a good idea.
4. Assign a friend to be my pretend romantic interest of the night so that 18 year old pubescent boys don't attempt to hit on me.
5. As always, drama-free is the way to be.

I woke up this morning to a very loud crash of thunder followed by car alarms and heavy rain that seemingly came out of nowhere and told Jaime, who was sleeping next to me:

"I hope the apocalypse happens right now, because I really don't want to go to work today."

His response:

"Somehow, I don't think that's going to happen today, Sam."

And thus began my cranky, tired, hungover Monday morning.
